The Chesapeake Funds

The three most recent funds sponsored by ABR offered a comprehensive fund structure, permitting the capital commitments of ABR, ABR’s shareholders, ABR’s US taxable and tax-exempt investors, and ABR’s non-US investors to be consolidated in the portfolio of properties assembled by each respective fund.

2005/2006 Fund.  ABR Chesapeake Fund III assembled a portfolio of 49 investments with a total cost basis of $890 million.

2001/2002 Fund.  ABR Chesapeake Fund assembled a portfolio of 28 investments with a total cost basis of $369 million.

1999/2000 Fund. Chesapeake Investments Limited Partnership assembled a portfolio of 31 investments with a total cost basis of $282 million..

The Earlier Funds

The earlier funds sponsored by ABR were structured for separate investor groups, with the 1998 Fund and the 1996 Fund offered primarily to ABR’s US taxable investors, and the 1994 Fund offered primarily ABR’s US taxable investors and ABR’s non-US investors.

The 1998 Fund.  Alex. Brown Realty Investors II Limited Partnership assembled a portfolio of 18 investments with a total cost basis of $200 million.

The 1996 Fund.  Alex. Brown Realty Investors Limited Partnership assembled a portfolio of 11 investments with a total cost basis of $76 million.

The 1994 Fund.  Chesapeake Property Finance Fund assembled a portfolio of 6 investments with a total cost basis of $55 million.
